If you use atVenu Register for your merchandise or food & beverage sales and Credit Card processing, you have access to the Register Report for each event. The Register Report provides real-time inventory and sales data as your event progresses. On the Register Report, you can see everything from total Cash and Credit Card sales, total number of transactions, top selling items, total items sold and inventory remaining across multiple locations.
- Real-Time Sales Reports: Easily track sales by day and hour to maximize your staffing resources and compare year over year sales trends
- Top Selling Items: Quickly identify which items are selling the best
- Inventory Remaining: Quickly see inventory levels to ensure you always have the right inventory on hand
- Sales by Category (F&B) and Cash vs. Credit by Artist (Merchandise): Track total Credit Card transactions by Artist allowing you to charge actual fees rather than absorbing these costs

Navigation, Filtering, and Sharing:
Navigation:
- Access the Menu in the upper left corner to switch events, change password, or logout
- Use the primary navigation to toggle between Home, Artists (Categories for F&B), Items, Inventory, and Registers, Stands (If Multiple Stands is enabled), or Locations (for F&B)
Filtering:
- Start Date and End Date: If your event is set up as a multi-day event, use the date filters to see sales and inventory data for a specified range
- All Day: Filter your Register Report by a specific time frame using the All Day / time filter. For Venue/Festival accounts, you can set a specific default time zone for your account under Account Settings > Other. The Register Report and time filter will always default to your preset time zone. For Festival accounts, however, you also have the ability to set the time zone on a per show basis
- All Artists (All Categories for F&B): Filter the Register Report by individual or multiple Artists/Categories, Custom Amount, and/or Tips (if enabled)
- All Stands (All Locations for F&B): Filter the Register Report by stand if Multiple Stands is enabled under Account Settings for merch accounts or if you are running an F&B event
Sharing:
You can share the Register Report on a show by show basis at any time with anyone, even if they are not a User of your account. Click the Share button to share any portion of the Register Report via a unique URL. For more information on how to share the Register Report, please see: How do I share my Register Report?
CSV Export:
Use the XLS button to export a CSV file of the active page of the Register Report. Filtering will also be reflected on the CSV export.
Home Page:
The Home page of the Register Report provides a high level overview of your show data.
- Total Collected: Total payments collected (Credit + Cash + Tips)

Total Sales: Total Collected - Tips
- Total Sales includes tax
- Total Sales does NOT include tips
- Tax: Total Tax will be displayed if Tax on Top is enabled for the show
- Net Sales: Net Sales will be displayed if your show is Tax on Top enabled.Total Sales - Tax collected (Net sales does NOT include Tips)
- Tax: If Tax on Top is enabled for the show, a tax total is displayed (Net Sales total includes tax)
- $/Head: Current $/Head based on the capacity entered when the show was saved
- Avg. $: Average transaction dollar amount (Tax included)
- Avg. $ w/o Tax: If the show is configured as Tax on Top, this field will display average transaction amount without tax, calculated as Net Sales divided by the number of transactions
- Txn: Total number of transactions
- Tenders: Total tenders (CC, Wristband, Cash, Waived) including the portion of CC receipts that is the atVenu CC processing fee. Transactions lower than $0.50 cannot be processed and will be waived (reflected as a Waived tender on the Home page)
- Top Seller: Best selling item, including total units sold
Below the top row of data, you'll find a visual bar graph which displays sales data that is filterable by hour or day.
- Use the Sales / Transactions and Hour / Day buttons to customize the graph data
- To see data for specific points in time, hover over any of the bars in the graph to reveal the sales data or the number of transactions for that time stamp
Further down the page, more granular sales data is displayed by date, including: Gross, Refunds, Offline Declines, Discounts (if enabled), and Total.
Artists (Categories for F&B):
The Artists/Categories page of the Register Report includes a line graph which displays sales data that is filterable by hour or day.
- The graph represents each Artist/Category separately providing an at a glance comparison of how each Artist/Category saved to your show is selling
- The graph represents Custom Amount transactions and Tips as separate Artists/Categories
- To see data for specific points in time, hover over any of the points in the graph to reveal sales data with that time stamp
Further down the page, more granular sales data is displayed, including: Credit, Cash, Total for each Artist/Category plus Custom Amount, and Tips (if enabled).
Uncategorized Transactions: You may also see a row labeled 'Uncategorized Transactions' on the Artists/Categories page and the Registers/Stands/Locations page. This includes transactions that were processed (meaning the customer was charged), but due to poor network conditions, the data related to the transaction has not yet synched with atVenu. atVenu does not know where to apply the sale or inventory deduction. The total $ amount of these Uncategorized Transactions is included as part of the Total CC Receipts listed on the Home page under Tenders, but your remaining inventory has not yet been updated, and the revenue has not yet been applied to the correct Artist/Category. As network conditions improve, and as the details of the transaction sync to atVenu, your remaining inventory will be updated automatically, the $ amount will be applied to the correct Artist/Category, and the total $ amount of Uncategorized Transactions will be reduced.
Note: For merchandise settlements, when Settling each Artist, this is where you will locate the individual portion of the Total CC Receipts to be entered into the Settlement. For more information on how to Settle your shows, please see:
Items:
The Items page of the Register Report includes a line graph which displays sales data by item that is filterable by hour or day.
- The graph represents each item separately providing an at a glance comparison of how each item is selling
- To see data for specific points in time, hover over any of the points in the graph to reveal the sales data with that time stamp
Further down the page, more granular data is displayed by item, including: Item Price, Cash, Total Sold, Refunds, and Total.
- Click on any item in the list to reveal sizes and corresponding sales data by size
- If Tax on Top is enabled, items will display Price and Price w/ Tax
Inventory:
For merchandise events, the Inventory page will list all Counted In items broken down by size and will display quantities for the following:
- Count In
- Adds
- Total In
- Comps
- Sold
- Remaining (Show Stock)
- Sales ($)
For F&B events the Inventory page will display total sold quantities and Total ($) for each item.
Additional Features:
- To see sales by stand or location for a specific item, click on any item in the list
- For Venue and Festival merchandise accounts, the inventory remaining column will display the remaining quantity in red when the item has sold out. Hover over any red 0 or negative quantity to reveal the time at which the item sold out
Tip: With large product lines, use the Search feature in the upper right to quickly locate specific items within the list.
With atVenu Register for merchandise accounts, if you are running Multiple Stands, your remaining inventory is also available on your Stand Sheets which are accessible via the Master Counts page. Just click on the tab for any stand to the right of the Distribution tab to load a Stand Sheet.
Registers or Stands (Locations for F&B):
- If you are running Multiple Stands, this page will be titled: Stands
- If you are not running Multiple Stands, this page will be titled: Registers
- For F&B events, this page will be titled: Locations
The Registers page allows you to track sales by Register when running more than 1 iOS device with atVenu Register.
Please note: To locate the Register name, visit the atVenu Register app login screen. The Register name is listed in the lower left corner. Alternatively, while logged into a show, tap Operations in the upper right corner of the screen, or tap Menu > Support to locate the Register name.

The Stands/Locations page allows you to track sales and inventory by location. Sales by location are displayed in a visual graph filterable by hour or day.

- Click on any stand/location in the list to reveal active Registers and corresponding sales data by Register.
- Use the > arrow on the right side of the header row to reveal additional columns, including Discounts, and Tips (if enabled)
Staff Mode:
Track overall performance and sales data by vendor with our Staff Mode feature. Staff Mode can be enabled with or without the use of Multiple Stands under Register Settings > Management/Staff. Simply assign a 4 digit PIN code to each staff member, and set your manager PIN code.
On the Register Report > Registers or Stands/Locations page, with Staff Mode enabled, you will see a secondary utility bar under the primary filter bar which includes: Stands or Registers, Staff Shifts, and Staff Summary.
Staff Shifts details all individual staff shifts including:
- Seller name
- Time In / Out
- Assigned Stand
- Assigned Register Name
- Cash
- Credit
- CC/Cash Ratio
- Use the > arrow on the right side of the header row to reveal additional columns, including Gross Sales, Offline Declines, and Refunds
Staff Summary provides an overview of each staff member’s performance including:
- Seller name
- Gross Sales
- Cash
- Credit
- CC/Cash Ratio
- Use the > arrow on the right side of the header row to reveal additional columns, including Offline Declines, and Refunds
Tip: Filter Staff Mode data by staff member by clicking All Staff from the filter bar
